The piece is a digital tonal rendering of a specimen (#E23) from Grant’s Museum at the University of Toronto, rendered in a style similar to the carbon dust illustrations of Max Brödel. Sketch and rendering was performed using Procreate with composition and labeling performed in Illustrator.
